Greetings All,
I just wanted to take a quick moment and let you know what I’ve been up to.
First off, I am in the process of recording 2 new records. One is a piano CD which will contain some arrangements of previously recorded songs that you might familiar with as well as some new compositions. I am particularly excited abouted a piece I composed as a tribute to the victims at The World Trade Center. It will contain approximately 16 tracks of original composistions.
The other CD is new album of songs which I have either re-recorded , remixed or both. There will also be a new tune on there as well. This collection represents what I consider my best material and I plan to get out and perform live as much as possible in 2011 and beyond.
Most importantly, I will no longer be recording or performing as “Mad Francis”. I know that last year joked about changing my name to M. Fiddy but, truthfully I have decided that I will now use my given name of Eric Long.
I look forward to sharing some audio and video clips this spring, before I release the records this summer. The tenative title for the piano CD is “Dinner Party Piano Suite” and the tenative title for CD of songs is “Magic Theater” . No release dates have been set but, I will let you know just as soon as they are. Also, I will release the track listings for each CD in the next week or so. So, make sure you check back soon!
